50% of the population in Pakistan does not have access to primary healthcare services (Memon Medical Institute, 2022). In order to provide for those affected the most by the healthcare disparity in the country, Yuhki (Afiya) fundraised over 1000 USD to organize free medical camps in rural villages of Gilgit Baltistan, the northern-most, rural province of Pakistan. These camps included free consultations with an orthopedic doctor and gynecologist, along with any prescribed medications. Apart from preparation and organization, Yuhki helped the doctors by taking patient history, blood pressure, and preparing prescriptions.
